We loved our stay! wonderful hotel. Excellent room with a view of Burj Kalifa. Easy access to the metro and Dubai Mall. Super attentive and helpful staff, especially Nekeen who made our stay even more enjoyable. very complete breakfast. very good gym.

Best hotel for first time visit to Dubai

Recently back from our trip to Dubai and stayed at this lovely hotel, staff are very welcoming and attentive to all your needs, arrived in the morning and Danel told us that our room was ready so was able to check in straight away, we had booked a luxury twin room which was very large and a great sized bathroom with a walk in shower and stand alone bath, with a view of the Burj Khalifa. Great choice of breakfast, also had a meal at one of the restaurants in the hotel Wakame food very nice. The pool area with loungers are a great way to relax, where you can order food and drink and served by the staff where nothing is too much trouble Would definitely recommend, as in a good location for the Dubai Mall

The location of the hotel is very good. However, it stops there. Customer service is horrible. Staff is extremely argumentative. They gave me an upgrade to a one-bedroom suite due to my accord status; however, the room had a smell. The quality of the room was not five-star. During our two-night stay, we had our room cleaned once. We had the room service light on, but no one bothered to clean it. We had breakfast on the third floor ( exclusive to club lounge access which we have paid for). They wanted to charge us for food; then, after asking to speak to a manager, they admitted the breakfast is à la carte. We tried breakfast on the second level which is available to the rest of the hotel. They had a bigger variety but the customer service were rude and they cut us short when we asked for services. Large variety, but food quality is still poor. The Eggs Benedict was not pleasant. The croissant was average, and there was a limited variety of food like club sandwiches, cheese, jam, and bread. On checkout, I called to have my bags taken down, but they argued with me and told me that if I don't need help, I can do them myself. I had a number of bags with me and children where we had to drag things downstairs ourselves. When we went downstairs to complain upon checkout and cleanliness of the room, the director of room services came out with food in her mouth and started arguing with us. She threatened us with security, and the head of security came, and the receptionist admitted to him that we were not unpleasant to her. However, the director of rooms got offended because she did not like me criticizing how she was eating while talking to me. After we left, they offered us an upgrade and free club access for our next visit, but I don't think it is not worth it. The club access is not worth the month. The quality of food at the club is below standard. There were a number of nice people at the hotel such as the head of security, the guest relations manager, and staff at the club lounge. Despite of their kind efforts, this did not help in mending our stay. Customer service and breakfast/food are the biggest downfalls, as well as the smell in the room, which we reported on our arrival. I feel sorry for some of the nice staff who work at this hotel.
